Service Description

Everyone loves a Chinese banquet, but what if you could ignore the takeaway and create a delicious and healthy selection of dishes at home for your family? In this hands on class you’ll learn how to make a variety of Chinese recipes, along the way acquiring a host of new skills that will get you cooking up a storm in the kitchen and make you the go to chef amongst your friends. Dishes to include: Sweet and sour chicken Mixed vegetable chow mein Chinese dumplings, dipping sauce Egg fried rice Soy sauce brownies BY BOOKING ONTO THIS CLASS YOU AGREE TO THE OUTLINED TERMS & CONDITIONS STATED IN THE POLICY. PERSONS UNDER 16 CAN ONLY BE BOOKED ONTO A CLASS WHEN ACCOMPANIED (BOOKED ALONGSIDE) BY AN ADULT. FAQs - We pride ourselves in all our classes being hands-on and interactive, including demonstrations and making the recipes yourselves - Recipes are provided to re-create your dishes at home - Everything is provided for the day - aprons are provided, all equipment and ingredients included - We ask you to bring some containers please, if possible. Whilst you eat some of your creations, there is often plenty to take home too

Terms & Conditions (Ts&Cs) for Bookings

By attending this class, you confirm that you have read and understood this agreement and will supervise your child throughout the session. -These Terms & Conditions apply to all Parent & Child Cookery Classes (“the Class”) provided by Luke's Patisserie (LPs) (“we”, “us”, “our”). By booking a class, the parent or legal guardian (“you”) agrees to these Terms & Conditions on behalf of themselves and the participating child -A parent or legal guardian must remain with their child at all times during the class. -You are fully responsible for your child’s behaviour, safety, and wellbeing throughout the session. -You are responsible for ensuring your child: Follows all safety instructions, including safe use of equipment, Movement around the kitchen, Behaves in a way that does not endanger themselves or others. -Staff are present to teach and guide, but they are not responsible for supervising children. -Classes involve the use of real kitchen tools, which may include knives, peelers, graters, hot surfaces, and electrical appliances. You must ensure your child: Handles tools safely and only when instructed, Keeps fingers, hair, and clothing away from hazards, Does not run, climb, or behave unpredictably around equipment. - Activities are designed to be age‑appropriate, but parents should assist their child with any task they feel is too challenging or unsafe for them to complete alone. -If a child is using equipment unsafely, we may ask you to intervene immediately or remove the child from that activity. -You are responsible for informing us of all allergies, intolerances, and medical conditions for both adult and child before the class. -You must supervise what your child eats and ensure they avoid any ingredients that may cause a reaction. -While we take care to minimise risks, our kitchen may contain common allergens. Participation is at your discretion. -By attending the class, you acknowledge that: Cooking activities involve inherent risks (e.g., cuts, burns, slips). You are responsible for managing these risks on behalf of your child. We are not liable for: Injuries resulting from lack of supervision, Accidents caused by failure to follow instructions, Allergic reactions where information was not provided in advance. -You accept full responsibility for your child’s actions and safety during the class.
